I recently started GC with EY law. I haven’t seen any case process since late august and there are a few items past due. The lawyers are not responding to my emails, does anyone know how to get a better sense of case progress and possibly to get the lawyers to speed up the process? Thanks! EY

I have a coworker that is the same way. I remove myself from people and such behavior. If it’s important I’ll communicate if it pertains to my job, but I’m very careful what I say bc I can’t trust some people on my team, gossiping whether I do something right or wrong. I’m dammed if I do and dammed if I don’t so I just do what I was hired to do and mind my own business.
I agree.
Some teachers are so rooted and tight with each other, politics drives them to push outsiders away. I see it everyday! If you’re new and you don’t immediately jump on the gossip wagon, you become the victim. I understand why this person is reluctant to talk to them.
Sounds like it’s time to have an adult conversation.
I deal with this as well. Following.
I’ll bite. Why aren’t you communicating with them? Is it vital to your job? Do you team teach with them? Do you need to make adjustments in your behavior? I’d make sure that it’s not a real problem on your end first. Then I’d have a conversation with them one on one. If the behavior doesn’t change, talk to your administrator about it.
Well it doesn’t necessarily pertain to team teaching but I should give myself an evaluation first probably.
You don’t have to be perfect, but just make sure that you’re holding up your professional end of the bargain first. You might really be the problem. Good luck. I’ve dealt with this before and I had to accept responsibility for my part of the problem and work to fix it.
I've been through something similar.
I finally lost my temper with it, and called the other teacher out. Turned out her problem was based on someone else's nonsense, and a misunderstanding.
Talk to them.
