Have in offer in hand that I’m ok with…but DoorDash finally got back to me (post my initial excel screen) with the “opportunity” to interview with them (this is for a S&O Sr Manager role). Has the recruiting process improved? In other words, are they still doing the homework case assignment? Should I even bother at this point?

I am getting promoted to manager in October but want to start looking for other jobs. How do I explain this when applying, can I note on resume or anything?

Interviewed for a Production Support Engineer role two days ago - went OK, was able to answer some questions and others that I couldn’t. The role was not posted yet on their site or LinkedIn at the time of me interviewing. Feedback from Manager was that I presented myself well and they would have to discuss as a team if they had the time to get me up to speed as there was a learning curve. Noticed yesterday morning the the role had been newly posted on LinkedIn (day after interview).

Has anyone (preferably in US/Europe/Canada) worked at TCS/Tata? I have not seen many good things about the company on this app. However, I'm interviewing for a manager role with salary range $120-$150k and I'm currently making $95k. I left a Big 4 making $82k at lead specialist level. All this is to say that the salary range is very appealing to me, especially if it's closer to $150k. What is so terrible about TCS or are people just speculating? Thanks for any insight!

How much weight do internal referrals actually have? Say if you have a manager referral, would that technically weigh more than just an associate? Or does it not really matter since any referral will get you to an interview where connections no longer matter

I had a interview with TCS, when HR called for scheduling interview I have mentioned the Job location as Bangalore, interview went well, during the technical round manager told like currently recrutement is going for Pune and Mumbai location, my preferred job location was Bangalore. He told other projects are extending their team to Bangalore, he told like he will mention in excel as "candidate looking for Job in Bangalore location". Can I expect a job offer from TCS.

I interviewed a month ago with an IB for a role I’m very much interested in. The hiring manager reached out to me 2 weeks after my last interview and told me they need more time. I haven’t followed up since and it’s been 3 weeks after that email. Should I check in with them any time soon or let it go?

Anyone ever go through 6+ grueling hours of amazing, positive interviews only to be told that you don’t have enough of one very specific type of experience that is clearly listed in your resume and could have been filtered out before proceeding? Before today me neither. I’m still in a bit of shock over the whole thing. The hiring manager said I’d be perfect and all the other interviews were just a formality. Apparently not!

Hi, I’m a Manager at Monitor Deloitte India and am interviewing with Bain Middle East next week. They have indicated that they are looking to hire for KSA and Qatar offices (instead of Dubai).
Question 1: How is Bain’s in Strategy consulting among other consulting firms in Middle East?
Question 2: How would Bain Middle East compare to Monitor India?
Question 3: How does experience in Middle East offices differ? Would experience in Dubai office be vastly different from experience in Doha/Riyadh?

Curious if there are any Director level people in this bowl that managed to exit to an industry (FS) role by applying to a job posting at an organization where they had no relevant connections/referrals. How did you manage to land the exit ?
