Accenture 🐠 : can anyone shed some light on interview process for Manager (specifically for technology strategy manager)? Any help would be highly appreciated. TIA!

Has anyone in this bowl performed a case study as part of the hiring process for a Project Manager? This role will be closely aligned with the Product team at a start-up. My husband was asked to complete and given 4 scenarios to respond to. He has a great strategy for the content but unsure of the best way to present. The document says “present any way you wish.” My guidance would be a deck sent in PDF. Some of the questions are more about his approach to prioritization & others process design

During the interview, my reporting manager told me that I need to relocate to the city where the Job is, now that I've accepted the offer, can I ask to be remote and if it cannot be granted, can I back up from the offer?

I contacted an ops associate at a large US fund and got referred to the search firm leading the process for an ops associate.
I have a quick interview with them on tuesday and want to prepare for that and the following steps. Any tips, materials or strategy for this? Also any comp references and general advice would be greatly appreciated. I know how the deal team process is but have no reference for ops
Im an FP&A manager at a large CPG company in mexico with 3 YOE in consulting (EYP)

So just interviewed for a Revenue Agent position supposed to receive initial offer within the next couple of weeks based on what the manager was saying. Part of me definitely likes the idea of a 40hr work week with no other crazy obligations/metrics or needing to do extracurricular stuff to get a bump in pay. The manager guy said generally they put you at a low step so pay obviously isn’t spectacular. Now entering my 3rd year as a SM is it worth taking a pay hit or would you try industry?

Help - have a really great exit opportunity (good team, exciting role, etc.), but got weird vibes from the hiring manager during the interview process. He seemed somewhat condescending and just overall not very nice. It’s a small ~20 person start up and he’d be my direct manager so I’d be working with him closely. Reason to not take the job?

Does anyone have any experience with leaving Google then attempting to rejoin after 1 or 2 years? I read online that is mostly about your manager's feedback upon your leave, and that you could sometimes be easily accepted again and sometimes without an interview.

I am particularly concerned as I would only be working for a year and I don't know if that's enough time to get a good enough feedback.

P.s I am starting next month, but I know I might need to leave after a year for a family matter.

I cleared the tech round at Barclay's over a month ago. Around 3 weeks back, the HR informed me that my Managerial was scheduled the following Monday. She rescheduled it at the last moment because the manager couldn't be available.

Fishes, any idea when the interview will be scheduled again, if at all? I've heard that Barclay's is notorious for its long hiring process. I already have 2 offers and my LWD is approaching fast, but it's Barclay's we're talking about!

Working with a recruiter from Edelman about a series of interviews for their Sr. Resource Manager position for the western region, mainly supporting their Seattle office/resources. Any advice or tips from anyone at Edelman that can shed light on their culture, the workflow of resources. Are people getting burned out over there? Any insights about the firm are greatly appreciated.

Current gig - FDD M2 - will get promoted this year. In a really good group with great people and partner. Pay sucks.

Potential opps:
-ACN M&A strat - Manager - base is at market and substantial pay raise (50+%) with nice sign on bonus. Perf Bonus is likely 10-13%. Currently have offer

-A&M PEPI CFO Services - way smaller base than ACN but crazy TC upside with utilization bonus. Still in interview process. WLB will take a big hit.

What would you choose?

Is there a good way to avoid signing up for new major responsibilities at current role if you’re actively job searching / interviewing? I feel like I’m close to an offer (in the next week) but my manager just added me as a sole resource to a new project. I feel like they’re counting on me and I would be screwing them over. Trying to balance being engaged at work while actively job searching. I like my team and don’t want to burn any bridges!

Any one else having a really hard time communicating with recruiters during the interview process lately? I’m getting ghosted, ignored and/or given misinformation about timelines and next steps. I’ve been on the hiring manager side and know that things change and are equally frustrating but just shocked at how I’m being treated as a candidate for roles I’m being strongly considered for.

I have joined the org last year in August and want to go for my master's in 2022.

How should I ask my manager for letter of recommendation for Master's?

I am worried about the questions that they might ask about why master's and why i didn't inform during the during the interview process.

I got interviewed at PwC for Associate role in Delivering Deal Value (DDV) practice. The interview was taken by a senior manager. It was a good experience (around 30 mins duration). He told me that the next round would be conducted by director. But it's been more than 15 days since the interview and there is no communication for further rounds. Does it confirm a rejection?? It would be great if someone could give some clarity in this as it was a dream role for me.

I was recently offered a Senior 3 position at EY within GSP in a tier 2 city. Starting base salary is $130k with a signing bonus of 6k. Really just seeking guidance on what I can reasonably negotiate regarding salary, signing bonus, and other benefits. I have 6 YOE and was initially interviewing for a manager position. I was offered S3 as a trial year to become acclimated to EY's culture before being promoted to manager.
