Offered a Sr Analyst role at a small tech consulting firm (300-400 staff) in Downtown Toronto. What should I expect in terms of compensation? I'm coming from government in a SrBA position with a salary (70-90k) over the last 4 yrs, so I really have no idea what's industry average.

I’m a tax senior wanting to pivot into a financial analyst role. I understand I’ll have to take a pay cut and will essentially be starting from zero. What can I do to make myself more marketable for this role? I was considered courses on sql, tableau, maybe python but even entry level positions seem to require 1-2 years experience. Any advice?

I have a question, What are the possibilities that I can do a job change to Accenture - Reporting/R2R/P2P profile considering I have no prior experience in the same. I am currently associated with RBS as Operations Analyst and having over 18 months of experience.

Since, I am on a contractual role, the main reason for switch is to get a permanent position in a good organization as I want to be free minded in terms of Job Security.

Hello! I was recently given an offer for Deloitte's Application and Program Analyst role. However, my interests are more in line with the Strategy arm of Deloitte and less so tech. Would it be difficult to internally transfer to Strategy? Any tips on making the transition? Or should I start at a smaller boutique for management consulting then lateral to Deloitte Strategy? I’ve been with my firm for just over 2 years and a recruiter for a hedge fund reached out to me for a Research analyst role. Pay is about 60% higher than what I make right now BUT I feel like the role is a bit of a regression.
Right now I get to manage other people and strategize with leadership. At the hedge fund I would basically be the lowest on the totem pole, given all the grunt work to do research and write up my findings for leadership.

Hey guys I am moving from a small consultancy as a business analyst. I have been offered a role as a consultant at Deloitte Digital and they’re offering £50k core salary. I am also in the final stage for capgemini which i’m 90% sure i’m getting but they’re offering around £60k (i think i’ve sort of forgotten). But my question is will Deloitte increase the offer amount? is it negotiable? I think my mistake when they first asked me what my salary expectations would be i said 50k.

I'm expecting an offer from Accenture in the next couple of days. The recruiter mentioned that compensation for my area (T1) and level would start at 90k+10k bonus. Would it be reasonable to ask for 100k base? I'm coming in as an experienced hire. This is for a senior analyst (CL10) position in CDP. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
