6 years in public accounting, manager 2. Is a financial reporting manager at a $2billlion SEC company a good position to transition into? Your thoughts pls.

The unhealthiest part of public accounting is the never-ending pissing contest over who works the most hours...shouldn't it be the opposite?

Do most firms make you fulfill your two weeks when you put in notice of resignation?

I left an omnicom agency for a Publicis one. My new benefits cost me 250 a paycheck (medical, dental, vision) for my spouse and kids. At omnicom it was 630 per check. That’s fuckin robbery right there.

Hello everyone! How do you manage holiday pay when the holiday is on a Saturday/ Sunday. For example, if I have someone working on Christmas (Sunday), they should be paid 1.5 but what if they work on Monday as well?I know this might sound silly to some people but I’m covering for payroll for the holidays and I don’t want to mess up!
