How was holiday party season? How many "fun" activities were you forced to participate in?

Anyone here from Canada, who went through TN Visa process recently with Google, that can share their experience and timeline of getting the visa? I am planning to take some time off to wrap up relocation related stuff and manage notice period as well so it would be good to get some insight on timelines. I have been working in SEA region last 4 years. I feel burned out. I have 10yoe, I have try to move to other country but I pretty much suck in LeetCode. I want to take some time off to unwind, finish some personal business, and really prepare for interviews. I would like to hear from you. Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July.
