Is there a good supplemental health insurance anyone in sales uses. We have very good insurance at Sysco but what I’m curious about is the idea of an extra insurance that pays for deductibles, copays, and whatever is left over. I wouldn’t mind paying a monthly payment in order to never see an actual bill. A supplemental health insurance with deductible and copays wouldn’t work. I need it to cover that stuff left over from Aetna.

Anyone here work at UF Shands in Florida? I’m interested in working there long term, but how easy is it to get in? How easy is it to transfer departments (such as from auditing to compliance)? Are the health benefits any good?

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?
