What are some great certificates/credentials to have if you are trying to transition from practicing as an employment lawyer to a more business/HR role (think management level HR specialist)? Has anyone done this and are you open to discussing?

Look at the LinkedIn profiles of the type of people you want to emulate and see which, if any, credentials they have. And then ask them if those credentials actually are helpful in any way.

But I hear so many talk about finding a balance and not turning ppl away bc ultimately they need a defense and who knows what will come up along the way. How would you handle? How do you find the balance btwn not turning clients away but not being unethical?
