Any tips on writing a resignation letter?

I am planning on leaving Deloitte early august because I got accepted into the grad school program I had my eye on and I want to utilize the time I’m in grad school to also focus on passing the cpa exam.

I’d like to move from accounting to project management with remote or hybrid work!

I just got my Masters almost a year ago so I only have about a year of entry level financial accounting experience. Do I have to get a certification or are most of the necessary skills transferable?

My plan was to get my CPA and then find a better job but the CPA Exam is harder than the Bar Exam!

So I just submitted my AOI for the cpa exam, and am studying. I’ll complete all courses in a few months, but what order should I take the exams in?

What happens if you don’t show up for your CPA exam? I know it says you forfeit your examination fees but since my NTS is expiring this week, I would need to reapply and pay again anyways.
When I try to cancel on prometrics it requires me to pay a cancellation fee. Just seems silly to have to pay twice when I won’t sit for the exam during this period anyways. I’d like to cancel to allow space for someone else to write but not willing to pay the fee. What impact, if any, does a no-show have?

I need to buckle down pass the cpa exam , but I have no motivation. I feel like I’ve learned more working and the particular group I’m in doesn’t value it as much as others . Honestly could see how a coding bootcamp would be more useful for the day to day of the job. Also, I’ve been wanting to have a side hustle of being an appraiser, but have no motivation to go through the Program for that haha :) I saw my friend finish Ironman yesterday I’m like dang I’ve been saying forever I want to run

Hey fishes! I could really use some advice right now. I’ve been working in audit for about 8 months now and I’ve tried studying for the CPA as well. All in all, I’ve failed FAR 3 times and I’ve failed AUD once.

How many years can you stay as an Associate at B4 without passing the CPA exam?

I have an IT background and most recently completed my Master of Science in Accounting degree, and now working on the CPA exam. I have a question. I have enough credits for the CPA exam, but before I realized that I was aiming for a Master in Accounting and got accepted in my school 5 year program for that purpose. Is there any benefit of getting said master? Or should I focus on passing the CPA exam instead? I just finished my first tax internship and everybody said that the CPA was unavoidable but nobody talked about any benefit of getting a master whatsoever.

How hard and time consuming is obtaining your CFE when compared to the CPA exam? I have my CPA license, I am just just trying to get an understanding of what I should expect if I decide to get my CFE.

Hi QQ for anyone who can help. For the Cpa exam, what is the writing section on BEC like? Becker doesn’t even seem to mention it on their lectures which is odd. I’m taking the exam in a month, just want to have an understanding of what its like, thanks!

If you are even remotely contemplating utilizing Ninja CPA as a supplement for the CPA exam JUST DO IT! I just passed FAR utilizing them on top of Becker after failing twice within 8 points of passing. On to my last section REG!

what’s the best way to say i have passed the cpa exam but haven’t gotten the license yet on my resume?

Should I start with a smaller company with great pay and use the work life balance to get my CPA? Or just go into big 4 without my CPA and try to get it in around the crazy work schedule? Both will pay for the CPA exam so that’s not a factor.

Hi all - I'm interested in moving to a larger firm to do business valuation work. Currently at a 50-person firm, and have completed three busy seasons doing a mix of audit and tax work, and a few 401K audits and business valuation projects in the off season. Ok NOW I can finally say I passed all four parts of the CPA exam. I can’t even begin to tell you all how hard of a journey this has been for me and how much sleep I’ve lost throughout these past few months. It was all worth it though. I see people are announcing they passed on LinkedIn so just practicing again until I finally do.
