CPA exam cancelled yesterday due to the snowstorm. Anyone have experience with this?

Do cpa exam scores expired in Texas ?

I am trying to sit the CPA exam however I do have some deficiencies in Accounting subjects, was advised to clear these deficiencies within 1yr, am not sure where to start from, any advice which colleges to try (in Dallas, TX) or how to proceed? I only need to do some few Accounting subjects not pursue a full degree as I already hold a bachelors..

Do you think that I will get job offers after I pass the CPA exam? Not one compony will even give me a chance because I don’t have experience, even though I have passed some of the exams already.

After a year in public accounting, I’m thinking this ain’t it for me. When we were in the office and on site at clients it was amazing, but I have been doing all my audit work from home since March and feel like I haven’t learned anything, and every day is miserable. I have one CPA exam section left and I honestly just want to collect my $5k bonus and bail. Do you think they would try to recollect that money if I were to do that? Things could change, but I’m looking at this possibility.

If anyone is studying for the CPA exam during busy season, what section are you studying for and what does your study schedule look like? I’m studying for FAR and schedule is 5-9AM each day.

I am in Accounting/Finance consulting and I was suppose to be studying for my CPA exam and not working crazy hours. My bosses keep telling me that they are working to transition me off the project, but still I have heard nothing. I want to tell them I am not happy, but worried I might lose my job (The company culture doesn't work their employees miserable).
I am not sure what to do at this point. I feel like I am on an island.

CPA FAR Exam first week of January. At the moment, I’m not confident at all (NINJA trending score 60%). When is the latest someone should schedule a CPA exam in January? I’m currently wrapping up a 9/30 YE, but unsure of when the 12/31 YE busy season really picks up in January.

Would love some wisdom and advice. So I took my current job as a property accountant right when I finished my bachelor's but before I had finished my master's. I have accepted a full-time offer to work in PA September 2021. I know things will also be busy in PA, but I wanted to try and study and/or knock out some CPA Exam sections before starting in September. Does anyone know if one of the CPA testing accommodations is extended time to finish the exam? I have a disability and I get extremely anxious when taking the exam and I lose my focus and concentration for a long time and that has really affected my performance on the CPA exam. I always run out of time and I haven’t been able to pass any exam. I have attempted FAR 5 times already and never pass of course.

Where is the best place to reach out to if you have just moved to the US from Argentina and you are looking to validate your accounting degree and see how many credit hours are needed to sit for the CPA exam? Would it be your state AICPA or NASBA boards?

Hi everyone, if you fail a CPA exam (state of Florida) , do you have to get a new NTS (NTS expires in March) or do you just reschedule with prometric? New to this so not sure all the steps I need to take. TIA!

have a dilemma. I’m an A2 and have decided recently that accounting is not for me. I don’t enjoy the job and I have yet to pass a cpa exam, so don’t want to waste more time and $ taking them. I’ve tried to look for jobs but haven’t found anything yet so looks like I’m trapped for another busy season. since goal setting talks are coming up, should I be honest with my pml that I don’t plan on continuing to take exams/want to leave? or will that hurt me more somehow? I posted this before but I could use some advice. So I passed my CPA exam and while I have my master in accounting I am legit 4 credits short of any upper level accounting classes. Instate tuition for a 4 credit class at a university in my area was $1700. I am looking at community colleges but they don’t have upper level accounting credits (at least none that don’t overlap with what I’ve already taken). If you have any recommendations as far as community colleges anywhere in US please DM me.

Is Prometric’s $30 test drive worth it? It’s my first time sitting for a part of my CPA exam and I’m just nervous....

I asked for part time and they gave it to me starting next year. I told them that I needed to take classes to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. In actuality I’m taking programming and data analytics classes at a CC to leave tax and embark on a new career. I’m very scared I cut my hours during this time of economic uncertainty. Mad at myself I’ve wasted my time and pigeonholed myself in tax. I figure if I don’t do it now, I’ll never be happy or fulfilled. Conflicting emotions. Why?
