Joined MetLife 7.5 months back at 10 LPA as a 2nd organization. Got an offer from Coforge with 70% hike. MetLife is just amazing as per WLB and I am really enjoying here. Gave Interview only to enhance my interview skills, but the offer is too high. What should I do next, please suggest?

Been practicing immigration law for a few years at a nonprofit. I love the field, but it’s barely paying the bills in LA for my family. I’ve been applying to a lot of jobs for a year and trying to market myself, but I’m either not being called to interviews or being told I don’t have any experience outside immigration. I have a strong resume and interview skills but I feel like there’s a giant immigration/nonprofit sticker on my forehead and I can’t ge rid of it. Any suggestions on a transition?

I’m approaching the one year mark in my first role, and over the past few months I’ve been encouraged by several people to apply and interview for a job or two each year - mainly as a way to keep interview skills sharp and see what the market is like.

If I really don’t really plan on leaving my current role yet, are there any longer term implications to keep in mind by turning down offers I may receive? Or should I be alright as long as I go about it respectfully and tactfully?

I am having a lots of interviews for a first year association position, but unfortunately any concrete offers. I am thinking two are the reasons why: maybe they do not like my accent and how I speak ( English is my second language) or I am asking to much when they ask about the salary range. What are the other reasons that you may mention why a person is refused after the interview? Do you answer when they ask about the salary range? Do you find helpful any sources for I interview skills? Thanks

Is it better to go through a faang interview loop & possibly not get it, or practice and revise port/preso/interview skills to try a bit later? A recruiter for one of my dream companies reached out and said to let him know if I want to go through interviews. Their loop lasts 2-6 months. I just finished interviewing for 3 other companies and it was really intense.

To complicate things, I have 2 offers + counter offer from my current company. Should I try for the faang now or wait?

Is it good to apply to a company if you aren't planning on accepting a role? I like to keep up my interview skills and search the market, but if I interview at a company I may want to work for some day, will they see a past interview as good? Or what about if I reject an offer?

I keep getting rejected by Big 4. I have had, no lie, 9 interviews with Big 4 firms as an Experienced Hire, from internal referrals, in the past 6 months. All with rejections. What's going on here? It seems I do not communicate that my experience is an exact fit for what they're looking for. I don't think my interview skills are bad. But I had interviewed for lower-tier firms and got in. What's going on here? Right now I do compliance, using data, at MUFG.

I hate interviews so much. Not only are they stressful, as a high functioning autist sometimes I just lose train of thought. I faked a connection error today but the interviewer probably saw through it. I try to prepare so much but the interviewer throws curve balls and I’m like how tf do I respond? How to reject the offer politely after getting the offer letter. I gave the interview only to adjudge my value in the market and to hone my interview skills. The offer or the organisation is not something I want to go ahead with.

Interview skills for Product Design interviews is very different from skills and mindset required to work in Product Design.

My personal experience in interviewing made me understand that I lacked a lot of things to excel in Interviews although I consider myself good in my work.

If I had to do it again, I will keep interviewing and keep improving portfolio and case studies. Although I will choose companies where I do not want to go first to practice.
