I am a lawyer (based in the UK) and have been practising for 15+ years (financial services/banking). I love being a lawyer but I would also love to do something more creative or more independent. How high does L6 range typically go for Sr Program Manager roles? I am currently at ~250k TC and the position they were interviewing me for hand a max range of 200k TC. Is >300k TC possible?

Planning to exit from 1st yr Engagement Mgr to industry Director level. Base comp / benefits that should be reasonable to ask? Thinking of 200-225 base plus bonus. Reasonable? Current: 169 plus bonus.

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position. Does employee level of internal referral matter at B4?

E.g. if I see a job requirement I fit, then does having a senior associate refer me carry more weight than a staff? How about manager versus Sr?

Do you ever feel like there are rooms you’re locked out of? I’m a black woman, i lateraled to my group a few months ago with minimal onboarding and welcome. A white woman joined recently and everyone has bent over backwards to make her feel welcome and get her integrated into the group. People have invested less in me and it’s going to show in a few years when she’s up for partner and I’m still catching up.

Question: do y’all really love this stuff and understand it? Or are you all on the “fake it til you make it” wave? I ask because I’m in a specialty group under the Corporate umbrella and many of the partners and some senior associates are extremely smart and clearly enjoy this stuff. Some even do “night time reading” to catch up on the recent laws. I, on the other hand, cannot wrap my head around it most of the time and would rather not waste energy doing it. Is it just me? What do i do? Quit?

Any book recommendations for soft skills at an agency/studio? For stuff like giving feedback, meetings, presentations, client interaction, etc.

I have just started my journey in Salesforce and I have started working on Salesforce Vlocity. Order management to be specific. I wanted to know what are the opportunities and what kind of job market is there in Salesforce/Vlocity.

Also is it good for learning to start off with Vlocity/Order Management right off cause it is a bit confusing for me.
