This is a me thing, but I honestly never want to hear any tips or judgements about WFH [during a pandemic] unless the author has small children that need constant supervision and care*

Can anyone recommend good tips to have more energy throughout the day? I sleep a decent amount now due to wfh but job is pretty stressful. My bf is much more energetic than I am and I always feel bad that I want to take naps all the time. He doesn’t complain but I want to feel more alive and not so dead anymore.

Any other younger working professionals fairly new (less than a few years) to the corporate environment have tips for this odd WFH posture?

I wish people in this bowl would be more positive. There have been so many negative and controversial threads been brought up, sometimes just for the sake of it. People then get furious, argue over one another, and the post almost always ends up getting deleted.

I’m not advertising that we restrict free speech in any way, but I just wish we could focus more on sharing career guidance, WFH tips, and funny memes etc.

Life is already hard enough. Let’s not add additional stress to it.

I'm bothered a bit by my inability to sleep well and long enough...
Pre-COVID time I couldn't get to bed early in Sunday evening despite of the early flights on Monday and even given now the COVID WFH I only goes to bed at around 1:30-2:00, which I found too late and makes me very tired on the second day...

I'm struggling to get to bed early...do you guys have any tips about how to sleep early and well? Any apps? Habits? Would be very helpful!

Body aches from sitting all day during this WFH. Looking to get a new chair with good lumbar support... any recommendations?

The longer WFH drags on the more stupid mistakes I find myself making. Submitted a research memo to a partner today with an embarrassing number of minor typos. I’m a 4th year and really shouldn’t make mistakes like this, but fortunately my analysis was solid. Any tips for staying sharp during all of this?

Now that we’ve been in this wfh situation a couple months, does anyone have tips or tricks for times they are feeling less motivated or productive? I find that I work best while in a team environment or in the office, so there have definitely been days where it’s hard to get into a focused work mode while at home.

Apartment lease ending soon. Been living here for a year with my roommate who is a nurse. When my firm started WFH in mid-March, she got transferred to the COVID unit. I was fortunate enough to move home to parents to ride this out and give her space. We get along well as roommates and I’ve been rooting for her everyday. I want to move back to the city and resign our apartment but I am worried about my health given preexisting condition. I’m thinking about solutions, but I feel very selfish.

My 55 year old dad wears either dress pants or synthetic squeaky sweatpants from 2000 for WFH. Any recommendations for leisure wear that is more formal than Lulu joggers but less formal than chinos?
