Can a company find out if you start to work for another company? Also, is it really a conflict of interest if you work for both companies in the same position, but the companies are in a different field (e.g. pharmaceutical and social media)?

I’ve been in my current position (Bookkeeper) for 4 years now. I’m highly interested in taking the PHR, and I’m wondering if I would qualify for the 4 year HR professional job requirement to be eligible to test for the certificate. Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

How much do we get paid

I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

According to an article in LinkedIn new job postings are down for the first time in 9 months but still there over 10 million open jobs with only 5.9 million unemployed workers. Why is it that here I am unemployed over 4 months and still not one offer. Anyone got some positive vibes to send my way it would be appreciated! I work as a Solution Specialist (sales rep) at an Authorizer Verizon retailer. Phone/wireless sales is not something I want to do forever. I have 4 years mobile sales experience and 3 additional years of niche sales/ customer service experience. I’m feeling stuck and every career/job move fells it is a step backwards. Need some advice. During May of 2021 an operations manager and an hourly Hr employee started a relationship while the ops manager was married. We had supervisors give us pictures of those two kissing at workFast forward they are now engaged and getting married. The HR worker does not work here anymore since July 2021. Is it too late to investigate the ops manager for misconduct ? The ops manager has worked here for 15 years and is super valuable, the operation literally can not run without him.

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.
Can anybody advise on this of they been through the same.

As black attorneys, what traumas do you think are unique to us?

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.
