Billables are low this month. Like I have 65 billable hours in so far. I’ve messaged partners over the last week to try and get more cases but there are tons of new associates who were just onboarded and were at a low point for business. I’m freaking out

Where is the industry going?

In 10 years, how will the traditional shops be doing vs. the consultancy’s vs. the in-house agencies vs. the PR firms vs. prod co’s vs. all the small specialized shops.

I’m considering applying for a position at Anchor in their creative department but I’m worried that they are too new to the industry. Does anyone have any input into the company and their growth?

This might be a stupid question, but do I need a strategy portfolio? What’s the best tool to build it? Include briefs/decks or just creative I worked on? Thanks

I need to get my H1B stamped and the US embassy in my home country (Delhi/ India) doesn’t have any appointments at all for the entirety of 2022 and beyond. Is there any way around this or am I stuck in the US for the foreseeable future?

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? I was not yet in the job market last recession but I watched my mom get laid off and struggle to find employment during that time for the next 1.5 years. I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. Hi all! I was thinking about changing industries. I am currently an underwriter for for-hire transportation with 7.5 YOE. Wondering what others have found to be transferable skills or if anyone has made a career change. In OAH the NCP has submitted no actual earnings only hand written sched c (Uber). NCP lied under oath about how pmt for the car was made. Said a friend paid for it and he is paying a friend back. I have bank evidence that shows every car pmt came from NCP Bank and only deposits were from Uber. Problem is the car was paid off in 2018 and the CSO was from 2018. CP asked 4 mod and it was brought up to ? his credibility. How do I get it in since its not about $ now? Judge granted 1wk 4 adtl exhibits
