Mediation works at times; although, medication may be better for short term use until you truly can master the meditation and address the stressors
Try mindfulness practice .. and identify your trigger points.
Yes, that’s anxiety and the fight or flight mode. You should tell your primary physician and get their opinions on it. The Evals will be the same, but your physical symptoms won’t go away until you work on the anxiety
I had constant anxiety and spinning prior to getting on medication
I will say tho, I think therapy helps a lot more in the long run. See if GT participated in the employee assistance program where you can get 5 free sessions with a counselor. If your primary physician believes medicine could help you could combine the two. Just know that you don’t have to live like this.
Yuuup. The only solution for me so far is what I’ve heard referred to as the “LA Happy Hour”: bikram yoga, xanax, and 8 hours of hard sleep. I have a tens machine that helps with shoulder tension, too. My biggest issue is finding time to actually go to yoga or get more than 5 hours of sleep. 🙈
Yes!
If you can identify the triggers then you can Minimize your what can go wrong thoughts
Meditation will definitely help that but you need to give it time! Scientifically proven and you feel so much better.
Start at the beginning, do the first three then do some of the ones focused on anxiety. She is amazing / life changing. https://michellechalfant.com/the-adult-chair-podcast/
It’s practically constant and driving me insane. I’ll give it a shot.
Thanks. This is all new to me. Never experienced this before so it’s been a difficult few months.
You have a headache problem. I am the expert. I have had one for 34 years. It has a new name. It is called a new daily chronic persistent headache. You should go to a neurologist who specializes in headache. Don’t let it go on too long. Anxiety may have something to do with it, but you really need to see a neurologist to stop it
Will do. Thanks!
