I really wanna love this (because who hasn't thought about doing it), but professionally it's not a good look. Definitely curious what the fallout will be, but doesn't sound like a fireable offense to me unless this is a problem with more than one person.
I recommend a career coach to help you learn how to express yourself productively before you hit your breaking point. You might have felt good in the moment but my guess is you will be really embarrassed in the long run. I would apologize as soon as possible.
Inept or not, it's never ok to be unprofessional like that. Especially in a public setting like a meeting.
Was that a good idea? Not really.
Do I respect the hell out of you for doing it? Absolutely
Please update us.
When I grow up I want to be like you
You're my hero
Following.
Yea. We've all thought about it, but you're kind of a douche for actually doing it.
PLZ POST UPDATES OP 😦
Lol rooting for you, OP.
So, still the silent treatment, but there are still days left in the week! Will keep y’all updated. 😳
I’m still here, he isn’t. Bizarre fucking week.
Can't wait for the "my subordinate told me to STFU today, how dare anyone disrespect my authority!"
Hahaha dying to know if they are a creative or not
That applies to supervisor or not.
FCB3 I don't think context is needed honestly. It's not really ok to tell someone to shut the fuck up in a professional setting regardless of what prompted it. There are other ways to handle it if you feel that strongly about something. Just my two cents.
Everyone has said something they didn't mean out of frustration, stress, etc. It shouldn't be your death sentence.
Dear OP. You're fired. I'd do this in person but I'm totally inept.
Plot twist!!!!
I mean, we need context before and after the phrase...
