PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!
McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?
Thanks in advance,
Fellow Perplexed Fish.

I have heard that Goldman Sachs is rescinding offers of temporary contract workers. I have an offer letter from Goldman Sachs Bangalore for a full time permanent role and am already on notice period. There is still 2 months for the joining date. Is there a hiring freeze coming? If yes, will they rescind offers that have already been made? Goldman Sachs

I don't think so, and I think companies are getting more flexible with stuff like that. Of course, it would depend on your location and the type of management at your company. Some companies can pull something about their values to justify drug testing their employees, but it will be a rare case.
Amazing answer thank you
It would be unlikely but not impossible. But employers often just can't make employees take drug tests without a reason so it would have to be a "random" drug test where they technically aren't allowed to target someone. So what they do is pull a sample of people be randomly drugged test and if your name gets pulled for one of these then you would have to complete but these are generally rare
Cool thanks!
No I don’t think so
No, I’ve never heard about that
Are you saying your sales savvy come from some sort of drug usage?
Simple answer, stay away from drugs and you’ll never have to worry about being tested. One can’t repeatedly damage their body and mind and expect no resulting consequences.
