Any consulting -> Tech sales people out there? Curious how consulting experience is perceived both from a compensation and placement standpoint in the tech world…? What should my expectation be? For context — I SDR’d as a senior in college and was promoted to AE right as I took a BA offer from McKinsey. I have 4.5 yrs of work ex and joining as ACON at KPMG. Will I get promoted to CON in next cycle i.e October 2023 or so I have to wait until October 2024?

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

So l just started a new job (I work in

adjunct faculty but I find it so hard to
get into and I think it's because of
experience teaching. Can anyone be if help with landing an online adjunct position for teaching college readiness or success? I think to start my teaching journey that type of course would be best.

I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

The longer I do this job, the more I want to accept a tech job... no travel, same / better pay, no annoying clients...

Subject matter expert with my CPA. I’m completely fed up with the compliance aspect of public accounting Tax but don’t mind the technical side. Does it make sense to become an attorney to get out of compliance work and still do something related to specialty tax?
Or do I just go the college professor route? Wouldn’t mind working @ BNA or something like that either but I’m seriously fed up with everything about tax compliance and can’t keep doing this

Currently I had interview with Capgemini . All rounds were good . I think I have answered all the questions correctly . It seems hiring manager is also interested. Now it has been 4 days , I didn't get any response .
Generally How much time they take . Or should I consider that my application is rejected because of CTC issue.

Hr confirmed for 26 LPA CTC but after couple of days told that max budget for this role is 21 LPA.

CCTC - 18.3 LPA, YOE - 7.4, Tech - QA automation.

Please suggest if I should accept this offer. They don't have issues with 90days NP.

I was initially trained & was working on tool based tech stack- OpenText in CCM in my previous Org.
In my current Org I was put into Linux, Unix & Cobol with just a 5-10% usage of OpenText on top of it. My grip on OpenText has been ruined since last 2.5 Yrs. I am desparately looking for a change in tech stack. I have PowerBI & Cybersecurity in mind. Would like to get into something that will have avenues & opportunities in future.
I am open to suggestions & recommendations.
