I’m exiting to industry. Yay, WLB! For the first time in my career (other than lockdown) I won’t be traveling. I’m a little worried about being fully WFH, and would like to get out of the house maybe once a week.
Any recommendations for good workspaces?
I’m in South Denver, near Ruby Hill and South Broadway.

People doing WFH from their hometown city don't want to return for multiple reasons apart from saving money and commute time....
1) People like the stability here as compared to metro cities where everything is temporary starting from friends, colleagues, flatmates and even the cook!
2) People don't want to constantly struggle for the limited resources like water , electricity , fresh air , space and public transport.

Wanting to pivot to a career that allows me to WFH with at least 6 figures. Absolutely dread going into the office. Open to going back to school/training. Recommendations?

Tips on negotiating more days to wfh? Interviewing with a firm that is in 2 days a week and I want only 1 day a week. Commute is over an hour each way. However, I believe there's 1-2 attorneys at that office who also live in my city. Worried about the partners not going for this. It's a big firm but this specific location has 15 attorneys (only 4 associates).

Do any single M&A associates have dogs? I am a third year at a generally work from home flexible firm and considering getting a dog for mental and physical health reasons. Has having a dog been an issue with work? And any tips for bringing a dog home while working insane hours with occasional trips to the office?

I’m looking to move away from client-facing roles or long commute and toward WFH, more analytical.

Will my 6yrs experience in advising (7.5YOE in financial institution overall) translate well for an application? Or what other coursework or resources should I be using to build my resume?

I’ve been interviewing with a company for 2 months and have finally received a formal offer, of $100,000 CAD. Budget for the role is $90-120K and I countered for somewhere between $110-120K with the market average for this role to be $112K. Offer wasn’t clear with bonuses or company benefits etc, it’s work from home currently and time off is 3 weeks. Any tips leading into the final call to discuss the offer?

My partner has recently started to travel pretty extensively for a project after WFH the past 2.5 years. How have you folks in relationships/marriages managed being with a traveling S.O.? (I know a lot is due to the pandemic whereby we basically were around each other 24/7, so any tips are welcome both pre- and during COVID!)

WFH lawyer looking to move anywhere between Denver- Boulder in late October. Would like to stay as close to the mountains as possible. Looking to spend about $2k a month though that can vary depending on what utils are included. Not sure if I'm better off in a house or an apartment situation. Love WFH but the kitchen is so close!! Any tips for not snacking? Don’t buy snacks is the obvious answer (but I have them for the kids!). Have more self control is the other obvious answer (easier said than done). Sometimes it is mindless snacking and sometimes I’m legit so hungry! Being more structured with a set lunchtime and meal plan would probably help? Anything else?

I am expecting an offer but I have a feeling they will ask for my existing & then offer accordingly . I have 9.5 years of exp. but my existing is low as my existing comp. Is from a tier 2 city. Both have wfh. Any negotiation tips to deal with this scenario will be highly valuable.
