Are you noticing a loss of muscle? I’m working out but reading a lot of these stories on folks losing muscle mass. How do you ensure this doesn’t happen? I’m down 10# in a month at 19% BF whole time

Lifting heavy is a really good way to mitigate the muscle/strength loss. Heavy sets of 4 or 6 reps instead of lighter sets at 8, 10, or 12 reps will help prevent/limit muscle loss.

I see a lot of people who have crippling anxiety here work out to feel better. My crippling anxiety kind of paralysis my legs (or at least feels like it to the point that I can’t even walk). Does anyone have similar symptoms and solution for it?

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. I figure if anyone can understand this, it’s you all. I feel like I’m losing my damn mind. I have always loved communications, and I’m really good at it. But lately I’m so tired of politics and toxicity that I it’s sent me into a depression tailspin, on top of a pretty severe mid-life crisis. Two and a half weeks ago, I quit my job with nothing lined up. Not the smartest thing I’ve ever done, but I kind of feel like self-preservation was at work here. a few weeks ago we had a super busy day with scripts and i think i went into ‘autopilot’ because i don’t remember it happening, but i handed out the wrong prescription to someone (before you get mad, i only started a few weeks ago and i’m a junior assistant), out of all people i could’ve given the wrong medication to, it was a blind person. i have severe anxiety already and want to know some tactics to go back to work without guilt? i take guilt very heavy and struggle to get past it all

I’ve hit a plateau on the keto diet (no weight loss in 3 months). So in addition to walking 5 miles a day (been doing this since month 2), on Sunday I started a Beachbody HIIT workout with weights (21 day fix real time). It’s 30 min workout daily and I’m two workouts in and I can barely move. Also, the muscle cramps are for real! Drinking about 80 ounces of water a day and I soaked in an Epsom salt bath last night, any other tips?
