Does anyone else get pressure from Parents/family to move back home?

If I could walk away from it all I would. The betrayal, fake friendships, and back stabbing in advertising is taking its toll on me. I day dream of going to culinary school or just being a mom.

People who live with housemates / have a garden. Does it get noisy / do you find people in the garden earlier than (we) finish, that distract you from your work?

Also, living how is living next to a secondary school? Noise / traffic etc?

How have you combated your fear of rejection? I fixate on such small things as when my friends, for example, reject plans I have made. This definitely makes me more averse to putting myself out there and makes me ruminate on past perceived failures, which are clearly not good for personal growth

I find it hard to keep it together at school. I was in an abusive relationship that finally lead me to emptiness and emotional trying times. I keep things bottled up about school and home.

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?

I've started doing meditation with this group called The 'Art of Living' in New York City, and it's honestly changed my life. Can't recommend it enough for dealing with the stresses of modern life.

First year staff and I think this job is making my depression come back. I find no meaning whatsoever in what I do and just want to cry every morning thinking of going to work.

Wish I would stop thinking, I think too much, process things over and over again in my mind, when I sleep it continues in my dreams- no rest.

How do those of you that struggle w/depression handle working at home? Going in to the office gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning but I’m struggling today due to offices closed (snow)

Earlier this year I was making $75k as an FA and now $90k as an SFA in OC which is pretty much market value (4yrs exp - 2 in B4). I wanted that raise to $90k for a while and now that I have it, I catch myself thinking about wanting more & more money, even though I have more than enough to live out my means.
