I have been working in SEA region last 4 years. I feel burned out. I have 10yoe, I have try to move to other country but I pretty much suck in LeetCode. Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. I've noticed that my coworkers tend to work more on their own than with others, even when they're all in the office. Is this normal? I feel like it would be helpful for everyone to talk about their projects more often—I mean, what if someone else has solved the same problem you're trying to solve already?

Only a few of the engineers I've met have been antisocial, and it seems like such people are represented fairly evenly across different careers. I'm not really sure why that misconception still exists
