Hey everyone, would 12/23 afternoon not a bad time for holiday travels? Booking for a flight for my parents from overseas to LAX ,trying to avoid crazy busy afternoon.

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…

Anyone else in ATL? We had the highest inflation increase of any city in the nation last year and COL is way up. My rent is now more than it was in DC. Anyone seeing COL adjustments? F20 not FAANG.

Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. Is there any time limit to avail relocation amount . I joined recently but currently working from home . Not yet planned to return to the office . So I just wanted to know if there is any time limit before I should get it or I will get the amount whenever I relocate.

Just restarted stimulants and already I'm dealing with twitches again. Does anyone else get these? No type of pain or anything just every once and a while my body will twitch strongly. Afterward I feel normal, but it's a bit annoying, and I can't control it at all which is a little disconcerting. Don't remember this from when I took stimulants as a kid, but it's been a while.

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.
