Is it dumb to take a new role at a lower title but higher total comp? I’m currently an associate product manager at an agency supporting federal clients. I have an exit opportunity as a product analyst at an established healthcare tech company. Current role is about leading a team to build/enhance products. Exit op would be less implementation focused.
Current comp as APM: $83k
Comp for potential new role: $113k

What should I expect salary wise for a S& Healthcare Cloud/Analytics Manager role? (HCOL, no MBA but MPH, 6 YOE)

Total comp for Senior Manager, healthcare consulting (revenue cycle, provider ops) in NYC at big 4?

Currently engagement manager, in MC practice specialize in healthcare payer changes, looking to make a change… maybe big 4. Currently mid 160s several years domain experience plus consulting…what mighty options look like?

Need advice - I currently have 2.5-3 YOE (depending if u count internships) and $180 TC. I’ve recognized the pay is pretty high and industry jobs won’t come near it for my amount of experience. If I stay in consulting another ~2 years and get to Manager level by then, would industry firms be more open to hiring me for a $180-200k role? FWIW I’m mostly looking at healthcare non-pharma.

Struggling with a decision. Just started a new role with good manager and WLB within healthcare technology. But another large tech firm/cloud/software reached out and willing to pay 20% more. Not sure what the WLF is for this other role. Should I take the better paying role?

I have a good exit opportunity. Three things concern me: 1. I’m about to refinance my mortgage and need to show work history of a couple of years at the same employer. 2. I vest into a pension on March 31st (about $12K) 3. Retention bonus of 6K on March 31st. How do I go about pursuing the exit opportunity but delaying the start date so I can handle these 3? They probably want to make me an offer in January. About to have lunch wit the hiring manager next week about next steps. Tips, please!

What was the process you went through when leaving your organization? Leaving a fin firm for consulting and this will be my first career switch. Should I talk to my manager first? HR rep first? 401k discussion? Reminding vacation days? Any discussion on this topic would be much appreciated. Also Already signed my new offer too

I am getting an offer of 73K GBP as the base salary with benefits allowance of 4.7K GBP and other core benefits (Pension, life assurance etc…) at PWC U.K (Total fixed pay = 77.7K GBP) office with around 6.5 yrs of exp in SAP. Base location they is Leeds. May I know if I am being low balled with this offer. Variable pay (bonus) will be between 10 to 18%. Grade being offered is Manager. Since this is in Leeds and not in London is it okay?

Marketing manager position at Becton Dickinson vs associate at McKinsey in their healthcare practice. Whats a good choice in terms of pay, progression and lifestyle?

After 6 years in Consulting (MBB), manager level, a newborn and my wife at home: Option A) dream location, pay 90k MBA debt out of pocket, get unemployment benefits (120K p.y over 1,5 years) + do some freelance work (at 1-1.5k/day) + look for a new job . Option B) go back to a geo I hate, get 120K salary (but 60% cost of living vs option A), and 90K MBA paid over 2 years, and career progression (not sure I want to do consulting for the long term). I have a job offer from WNS global service as Assistant Manager with 14LPA fixed + variable pay. But all i want was a stable work life, job security, Learning Opportunity, Benefits,better hike.Right now i work in EY as a consultant (4.5+y)where only think lacking is better learning with ongoing job Opportunity + not so possible good hike in coming future (but i still can get time to atleast only learn) which prompt me to leave the company. Am i taking a better decision of moving out or should i stay in EY?

Trying to get a feeler for comp and whether I am underpaid or overpaid:

Base: 150.5k
Bonus: 15-16%
Pension: 4% PA (not sure if I should be including this or not, but I’m fully vested so I get to take this $$$ with me if I leave)

Total comp comes out to be around 179k-181k, manager in Advisory, tech implementations, Program/project management at a mid tier firm (not big 4) with 7.5 YOE

Would love to hear thoughts, considering jumping to another firm for a better offer or stick where I am.

I have an offer I signed where they want me to give a start date . Its 185k base 6% 401k.
I am at the end of final round for Microsoft customer success manager position. I actually did 3 interviews for final round but need to do another one with 2 managers who have roles i may be fit for. The HR did say the top range for the position base is 150. Should I give my start date and see where this Microsoft role goes? I don't know how much TC I can get from MS. Any insight would be helpful. 12yoe

Current TC: 88k (83k base, 5k performance bonus), 3 YoE. Healthcare specific domain consultant. Looking to get into strategy work. Offer at strategy firm is 95k base pre-negotiation . Is this worth jumping over for? Tips on negotiating higher? For reference, manager level at my firm pays 95k base and if I stay, that would take 3-4 years for promo. Thanks for any advice!

Stay at Accenture (2nd yr Manager, would be up for SM December 2022) or take startup offer (Director)? current base $135k, bonus $15k, 401k match: dollar for dollar up to 6% of base. Stage E startup valuation from recent round back in March of $2+b: base $175k, target bonus 15% ($26k), .008% equity, no 401k match, free health/dental/vision for me and family.

Deloitte questions:
1. How much PTO for manager level?
2. 401k company match Vesting schedule?
3. How much % goes to pension?

Please help me make a decision. I have three offers. Deloitte Monitor M(Strategy) NYC, Amazon (Senior TPM) NYC and workday (Senior Product Manager) CA. Where should i go brand wise, benefits, work life balance). Money is good in all, it is just a matter of where to accept now and i am very confused.

Offer: LinkedIn BizOps manager, 170k base, 50k in RSUs annually, maybe 10k bonus

Current: post MBA position, ~200k total cash base and bonus

Promotion in a year: director at EYP, ~ 200 base, maybe 20% bonus

Would you take the offer or stay? Seems to me that from a comp perspective, LinkedIn isn't a wow. In fact, I'm finding most BizOps in big tech don't actually pay all that much.

Talk to me about how you value packages

Is it fair to ask for the sign-up bonus or extra equity in lieu of the 2021 bonus ($25K), unvested RSUs ($20k), and educational reimbursement I will need to repay ($24K) if I change jobs before the year end? It’s for a new manager role in the industry and I don’t want to sound like a clown asking for a $70K sign up on the $160K base comp…
