Thoughts on thoughts on thoughts on MBA?

How come in TV shows there are different salaries for different actors? And it's even worse when you bring numbers in. Per episode, there have been cases where some people make twice as much as others.

I moved to private and they expect everyone in the office throughout the pandemic. I get my work done from home but am constantly called out about “hiding.” Is anyone else in accounting actually going into the office?? How am I the weird one here??

I started working recently. I got my semi monthly pay recently and I use all of the semi monthly pay(not including 401k and IRA) for rent. (So 50% in total) Is that too much? Starting salary is pretty bad in here.

How many billing entries do you normally have in a given day? I do ID work and normally have about 20-25 entries with a decent amount of specificity, which takes up so much time to input. Curious what others have.

What other careers do you catch yourself daydreaming about? I, for one, would have loved acting as I loved theater throughout my life but alas fate had other plans. What's yours?

Can you please recommend apps or other resources to develop remote onboarding?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

Did anyone recently relocate and opt for packers and movers for shifting the household goods/vehicles? Can you suggest some good moving companies and also may be the cost incurred in the move?
What are some of the points to keep in minds to select a moving company and negotiate the prices?

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. But do you think it's wise to do so at the risk of damaging your work environment or the whole thing backfiring on you? Thoughts are welcome.

How long does it take EY GDS to hire? I've applied for some positions (bcom fresher) on June last week.
