Leave personal emotions at home and leave work at work. When I step into the office, I only focus on work and I cry when I get home
Very hard to do. Just comes with time and that amount of time is different for everyone. - Try and find a way to let your team know without upsetting yourself or feeling embarrassed. Hopefully they will support you and try to pick up any slack if your performance has slipped at all.
I’m going through this right now. Worst part is that we live together and he has already started dating, but I’ll be moving out soon and hopefully starting the healing process. I’ve started seeing a therapist too and that has been tremendously helpful, unfortunately my performance has definitely been slipping because I’m depressed :/
My work product suffered for two month. I had to let them know. After that, suddenly felt fine and back to normal. No harm no foul
