I need help building an argument that I should get maternity leave at a company I’ve joined before I’ve been there one year. I’ll give birth at my 8th month. The employer is a F100 insurance company. Should I make this argument to my manager or to HR? What points should I make?

Senior Manager gives me a poor rating at the end of the project (affecting my metrics and benefits) and only months later the client specially requests me to be back on for the next phase.

Feeling a bit lost on where to go next. Currently early 30s and 3 years post-MBA as a Big4 Manager. Currently in healthcare but not really interested in staying in healthcare or consulting. Any thoughts on potential pivots? Also wondering about picking up some harder tech skills as my work has mostly been from a generalist perspective.

Started a job at a tech company. People, culture, hours, benefits/pay is great. However, the role is not what I was expecting. It’s junior & administrative/sales oriented. I thought it would be more analytics & strategy based.
Just got another offer for a corporate strategy role. Culture isn’t great, pay/benefits aren’t as good but decent, but I’d learn so much more in the role & it’s a manager title . What do I do? I’m early in my career. I’m happy rn but the role isn’t good career wise

Offer in aerospace and defense, senior manager in Corp development. 170 base, 15-20% bonus. 8 years of experience. Any red flags? The non-comp benefits/WLB are all excellent

How does a typical day-to-day look like for a Project Manager for healthcare client?

I have several interviews coming up over Zoom for a role at F500 healthcare company. The first meeting the hiring manager was in a polo and I was suit and tie. Should I keep that up or are people doing just a button down and jacket these days? Haven’t interviewed in a while and I was always a suit and tie person.

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I don’t have PM experience or honestly know much about it, but when I read the job description it sounded interesting and like something I could pick up on pretty quickly. Take the Easy associate job that pays more with great brand name, great pay, great benefits, seemingly good manager, but the role isn’t what you want and isn’t as good of a stepping stone

OR the difficult manager role that has great role, high impact, helps you learn, good skill development, average benefits, good pay (but not crazy outstanding), solid brand name BUT you don’t know the team/manager well & pay/benefits isn’t as high as the first

Could someone at McKinsey explain this? My understanding is that the hierarchy at McKinsey goes from Junior Associate to Associate to Engagement Manager to Associate Partner and finally Partner. On the McKinsey career site, I see several position advertised as Consultant ("implementation consultant", "Healthcare Consultant"). Are these contract-based temporary roles? Or do these positions align more to an Engagement Manager level?

Does having Deloitte on your resume have a huge impact? Received an offer from Deloitte USDC to start in Sept but as an Analyst. I am a recent grad but have been working full time during college in industry. Have another offer from industry with better benefits and almost double the pay as a project manager. Second year Consultant who came from a benefits broker. I feel like I am very much still learning the ropes of consulting. Was asked to help on a deck for proposal work for something I have no background/knowledge in. Told by the partner that I wouldn’t be creating content just story boarding and managing and organizing in the deck.
