Can someone help with preparing for a product manager interview at Amazon? What to keep in mind? Any tips would be helpful

I know there would be DS & Algo, Programming and ML Questions but
I was given a long list of topics to prepare by google - Web/Internet Technologies, Databases/SQL/NoSQL, Linux/Unix, Distributed Systems, System Design, Troubleshooting, Networking
Any suggestions on which topics to concentrate more on ,

Yesterday I attended MS hackerrank test and was able to solve some Java based MCQ and one sql query correctly but not able to execute a code with any passed test case so should I expect a call from a recruiter for an interview?

I’m a consultant with 3.5 years of experience at a fintech firm working in a professional services role. Looking to jump ship and pivot into a blockchain focused role/company ASAP however I haven’t got any blockchain experience unfortunately (started a course on coursera to become more familiar with it). My company issues top of the line 16” MBP’s for engineers and lower end 13” MBP’s for all others. I work in analytics/ data science and struggle with the fact that my computer can only run 1 external display! No one else on my team cares. How can I navigate requesting a more expensive computer without annoying my leadership? I already own an upgraded MBP as my personal - can I offer to swap my work and personal machines?

What’s your opinion on math homework? I teach 4th grade and have always given it but I’d like to see what others do and weigh out if it’s really worth it. If I give it, I feel like I should spend class time going over it but on the other hand I stress myself out trying to keep the absent work organized and those that don’t even do the work.

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I am generally a motivated, high performing person, but I al starting to slip up and care less, b/c my work is not satisfying to me. I know I just sound like a complainer, but does anyone have any advice?

I’m totally empathetic to people that miss offices and traveling. I understand your reasons why, I truly do.

For me personally, after non-stop weekly travel for 4 straight years, not traveling has made me realize how much I enjoy being home. Spending time with family, sleeping in your own bed, consistent exercise schedule, etc.

I for one hope consulting becomes more of a hybrid travel model (i.e. travel 1-2x per month or as needed). Else it won’t be for me.

Anyways, just some thoughts.

What are you doing for a retirement plan as an independent consultant? Solo 401K, SEP IRA, etc.? Any recommendations on where to open an account?

Side gigs. What do you do to supplement your income (besides marry for money)? I bartender but that’s taken a hit with Covid. Thinking about some kind of tutoring set up.

I came from China, you know why I came here? Because I hate being told they do things for my protection. Stocks there halt for the rest of the trading day if it moves more than 10%, because everything else must be too much risk for us little people to handle.
