Practice directors, Sales 🐟.. how do you coast through revenue pressures, growth targets, slow client decision, deal closure delays impacting your targets. i am constantly under fear of getting fired

Is it possible to coast in consulting, i.e. do the bare minimum not to get fired? Has anyone had experience with this/any tips to offer?

If you’re expecting to get out-counseled after a year-end review, is it better to secure an outside offer early so you can leave on your own terms, or to wait so you can get severance?

Out-counseled / laid off: joined 2 yrs ago- Strategy SM1. Year 1: progressing. Just got off phone with CC: year 2: not progressing. Will get 2 weeks when HR makes official next week.

Does Deloitte give severance? If so what is typical? I’ve heard of 2 - 4 weeks? Or do you just sit on the beach until your fired? (Which is basically severance)

On tough days, ask yourself, what’s the worse that could happen? Bad review, getting fired, embarrassing yourself. There’s always opportunity to right the wrongs and if not then find another job!

RAed after 22 years of service. They only offered one month severance pay. Is that right or should I be getting more than one month?
