For newbies, what are the best new books on Brand Content Management?

Are there any good movies or novels that show skill development - like follow through? Self-management? Money management? I read a lot of self help books so I know a lot of the theory, and books peppered with examples help, but I feel like most 1 paragraph examples don’t five justice to how hard it may be to change a behavior.

I'm an account manager, but want to get better at helping and managing my team. So, I've started doing some of the copywriting myself so I can get a better feel for what's involved, what's needed, and how I can help others improve.

Any book recommendations on change management?

How long should it take to get ramped up for a new job? Just started this week so day 3 in the books but feel so out of the loop since it’s a new industry and the company’s main product offering is a homegrown platform. I’m coming in as a Manager and report up to a recently promoted VP if that’s of any consolation.

Are other agencies like this? --> working over 55-65 hours every week, every project stretches for 6 months to a year (no matter how small), rarely get good work produced, lots of proactive briefs that go nowhere, supremely short staffed creative department. I'm at a global network agency and losing it. Made one book-worthy piece in the past 1.5 years. I like my mentors and managers but I don't get put on projects with them. Is it time to leave?

Any good books/reads to learn aspects of Account Management / Engagement Management in context of tech consulting?

I am starting a new role with a new company and will have 6 direct reports. Although I have managed teams before in a consulting project setting, this will be the first time in industry. My current role is a Business Analyst. I am very comfortable interacting with people and also Ambiguity. Recently, I developed quite a lot of interest in Product management and I want to make a transition into this stream. Good books for engineering management interviews?

Hi - i am an EM and I keep bombing the EM interviews. Typically don’t get any feedback. My resume is ok because I do get plenty of calls, but clearly i am doing something wrong somewhere.
Anyone recommend any engineering management or just management interview book? I read quite a few Leadership books but honestly it seems just common sense stuff. Doesn’t help me identify whats wrong.

Hey fishbowlers! Question concerning compensation for an FA assisting the main advisor on a $135M book. I am doing a lot of the work now as he is going to retire in 4-5 years and he is taking a step back. I do all the investment management in the account. Only 4 years of experience but I've picked this up quick, am series 9-10 licensed and halfway through the CFP.
What is fair compensation for someone like me? I don't know what is typical or fair.

What’s the best way to prepare for a transition to a new company with a new in-house team and a new manager? I have two weeks before I start and trying to get a head start before my new work load piles up. Should I focus on refresher books, or courses for soft skills or technical skills? What may be helpful to think ahead of time for smooth integration once the roller coaster starts?

Moving into a management role and am slightly nervous about leading a team’s personal and professional development.
